A dog-friendly pub, The Park Tavern is the perfect place to relax after a bracing walk with your four-legged friend. Priory Park, immediately opposite the pub, doesn’t accept dogs – but we certainly do!

What's On

We don’t have a packed calendar, what we do have is Chichester’s most popular quiz on Tuesday nights and live music every Sunday from 4pm to 6pm.

Rustic home-made food, prepared to order by our team of chefs. Choose from such items as Sussex Charmer, arancini with truffle mayo , grilled artichokes with sourdough and roasted peppers or from our mains twice cooked pork belly, fondant potatoes with savoy cabbage and apple sauce or our very popular slow cooked beef brisket with mash and burnt ends.


A selection of mouth-watering meats, crispy roast potatoes, all the trimmings and lashings of gravy – who could possibly resist? Join us for a special Sunday lunch between 12 and 3pm every week.


If you just require a quick snack we also serve delicious gourmet sandwiches with fries.

Driving to the pub? Set the sat nav for PO19 1NS. You’ll find free parking right outside after 5.30pm.

The pub is just ten minutes’ walk from Chichester Train Station. Coming out of the station, head along Southgate and onto South Street, then cross over at Chicester Cross onto North Street. Finally, turn right onto St Peter’s – you’ll find the pub at the bottom of the road.
